I like the unexpected: to walk into a space, expecting something, and to find something else; to be taken unawares, before I have time to form expectations 

 

Last year, I took on a residency at Distrikt a late-night music bar in Leeds city centre and had the time of my life filling this space with large-scale prints of my work. So much better than putting it into an art-gallery

And now I've embarked on another, similar project, closer to home, at The Pineapple, an old-fashioned town- boozer in Manchester
