Until a few years ago, I might have called myself an old-school modernist 

 

I have since found other excitements

But I hate waste. So I have re-invented my childhood imaginary friend, Bramble Richard, as the author of the old stuff

Prompted by an intriguing challenge from Jane Fairhurst, I made a film in which I imagined Bramble getting some of his work into Castlefield Gallery.
